AP Studio Art 3D Course Description:
The 3D Design Course is a part of the AP Studio Art program. It is essential in preparing students for college level courses by providing a strong understanding of 3D Design.
Students will learn how to effectively create 3D design of various styles and mediums. After experimenting with various mediums, students will then learn how to create and present a fully developed concept, in order to prepare for a concentration of 3D Design works. Overall, students will produce 8 pieces for a Breadth Portfolio and 6 pieces for a Concentration Portfolio. The Breadth Portfolio consists of a variety of works, while the Concentration Portfolio consists of a body of work, which represents a singular idea or theme.
